Proper scanning is a matter of vital importance, as photographers who shoot analog are well aware.
Typically, the scanning process for film and photographic sheets begins with an initial low-resolution capture pass (1Mb to 6Mb), which is called a “digital proof sampling”. This type of file is typically useful for quick frame reviewing, for use on social media, for test prints, and for digital pre-editing. After proof sample frames have been selected, a second scanning is generally done to produce larger and better quality files (including in specific native formats) using continuous strip scanners, flatbed scanners, drum scanners a/o virtual drum scanners (like i.e. Imacon scanners).
Our scanning labs are also available 24 /7 and come all the way to your photographic set (find out about on-the-set services by clicking here), ready to capture color and b&w negative, and reversal/dia from “half format” photographic film up to 18×19″ large format sheets.
On the basis of these production capacities and the experience gained over the years we offer photo correction and colour editing service on demand.
We remind the Client that the digital material produced is stored on the company cloud available for a maximum of 12 months.
Original material is stored in our repository free of charge for up to 12 months from the date of acquisition, after which the owner pays an annual storage fee.
