ANALOG
COURSES

FOR GOOD WAYS OF USING (AND NOT ABUSING)

ULTRAWORKSHOP

ULTRAANALOGIC offers educational experiences focused on cinematography, photography, and videography. We want to pass on our knowledge and experience to those who want to discover, understand, and deepen their use and practice of film (photography and cinematography) and/or magnetic tape supports (videography).

Our workshops are designed for photographers, directors, cinematographers, assistants,  cine/video operators and production staff members (mainly producers) who want to learn how to handle and manage an analog production workflow, which differs in several ways from digital production.

Each course has an aperiodic deadline, to be able to provide flexibility for workers, and has a (really) small number of participants, so that as much time and resources as possible can be devoted to it. In addition, the workshops are not designed to teach photography and/or filming but are meant for those who already have a practical and theoretical basis in filming.

THE CONSCIOUS USE OF FILM IN PHOTOGRAPHY
The basic workshop for those who want to know what film photography is, with more practice than theory.
THE CHEMICAL PROCESSES OF PHOTO FILM
A workshop for an easy and intuitive approach to film development and the next steps.
THE SCANNING OF PHOTO FILM
Workshop to learn about film acquisition and preservation.
THE HORNBOOK OF 8MM CINE FORMAT
The workshop for the discovery of the incredible world of the 8mm cine format
MANAGING AN ANALOG PRODUCTION
A workshop for the learning and exploration of the tools and media uses of analog production.
